Cost of Qualifications
The indicative Government subsidised fee for this qualification is based on the 2015 Skills List approved price and may change in 2016. The 2015 approved Government subsidised fee was: * First Qualification for learner: $2360 * Second Qualification for learner: $2660 * Apprentice/Trainee Fee (if applicable): * Concession Fee (only available to eligible learners in 4 x Cert IV Trial VFH courses) : $240 * Fee Exemption (if eligible): $0

All our qualifications are fee-for-service (commercial). VET Fee Help is available for Australian citizens.

From 1 January 2015, you must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) in order to enrol in TAFE. You can get your USI by visiting www.usi.gov.au.

Our qualifications are delivered part-time over two semesters.

Generally, interpreting classes are delivered on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 5:30-8:30 pm;
Translating classes are delivered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5:30-8:30 pm.
Students also have to attend up to 18 Friday evenings, 5:30-8:30 pm, in order to complete the elective units. Fast Track students should have completed the elective units as part of their Diploma studies.

Most of our qualifications are NAATI approved; graduates may be recommended to NAATI for approval (conditions apply).

The Advanced Diplomas Fast Track are offered part time over two semesters (2 evenings per week). The prerequisite for the Advanced Diploma of Interpreting (Fast Track) is the Diploma of Interpreting (PSP52412); the prerequisite for the Advanced Diploma of Translating (Fast Track) is the Diploma of Translating (PSP2312). If you do not have the prerequisites, you may apply for RPL. The onus is on the individual to present evidence. If you wish to apply for the Fast Track qualifications, you must submit copies of your Diploma transcripts.
